What neighborhoods would be affordable for working people (chef and photographer) close to retirement? I am getting the feeling you must be wealthy to live there. Where do the people live who work in the shops, teach school, or work for a non-profit?
Just moved out of my rental in Vancouver, WA. All the homeless issues and theft is creeping over to that side of the river from Portland. So many tents and people in need of psychiatric help in Vancouver. The whole entire metro area is getting dangerous, fast!
